With sufficient funding it can be disseminated throughout the United States to major universities, colleges and libraries to promote community development focused in the urban core.
The film will be used as a learning tool so that other cities may benefit from the lessons learned by Kansas City in revitalizing the urban core.
It will teach others how to tie downtown projects to the history and diversity of the entire region and will help other communities understand how historical buildings represent the heart and soul of our heritage.
Other cities will view how complex, aesthetic decisions are made and how various perspectives and viewpoints are considered to strengthen the process.
The film will provide a challenge and opportunity for citizens of all major urban centers to equal Kansas City’s spirit and accomplishments in an urban renaissance.
