What’s Happening Downtown?

 

Downtown Kansas City, Missouri is experiencing the most dramatic transformation in its storied history. More than $4.5 billion of new construction and renovation is being invested in our urban core. It’s all happening right now, and we’re working hard to capture this remarkable metamorphosis in a way that will enable us to tell this story in a memorable way for years to come.

New developments include the Kansas City Live! entertainment district, the new Sprint Center, H&R Block’s new corporate headquarters, an expanded Kansas City Convention Center, and much, much more.
